| Fri 22nd At last Finally made it out on our boat on Friday after 8 weeks of trying and aborting due to winds and work ! Caught plenty of makeral for the freezer, BBQ and bait - brilliant fun on light gear as ever. Fished the last 3 hours over the Galacia - a local in shore wreck that is overfished - ended up with countless dogs, a rockling but no conger - counldnt even interest them with a fresh makeral flapper !!! Off out to play again soon and get out to some of the wrecks about 15 miles out to see if they have any pollack, cod or bass on them !! Hopefully the charter boys wont be visitng them as they are too close and dont hold double figure fish - just give us a few fish around the 5lb mark and Ill be very happy.
