Talking Sandpoint (SandBay Side)

Me and Tommy fished the end of Sandpoint into Sandbay last night for a few hours. We had 3 Thornback ray in total.
I chipped in with the first Ray on my first cast, it came in around 7-8lb on Rag and crab. Next was Tommys turn he pulled one in between 5-6lb on Sandeel and squid, it put up a good account of its self.
Then last cast of the night my rod starts to pull off the rest, I struck into something solid, I got the fish to within 20yards of the shore and I did my normal trick of getting the thing stuck in the sea weed. After a trying from several angles to ease it out it became free and surfaced. Tommy went down the the edge of the rocks to pick it up and got a soaking from a freak wave (cheers mate) it weighed we think just over 10lb caught on Sandeel and squid again.

A good session
