Re: beesands and sunstroke

We stayed on till 12 to see if it would pick up after dark, had a few more mackerel, 2 huge launce on live sand eel, a beast of a spider crab and a dogfish

Was hopin there would be a bass about but not a bite on the bottom apart from the dogfish

Your right about the sunstroke, got a pic of 1 of the launce and the dogfish and i look like a lobster, will upload them when i put them on the pc

Cool Re: beesands and sunstroke

Great day out Kev. Thanks for organising it

Nice to put faces to names and of course meet up with the old Devon crowd. Fishing was pants but the crack was great and the bacon rolls were superb.

I will process some of my digi raw files and post them up at a later date.

Nice to see Devon Dave wore sensible footwear Martin had his special WB "T" shirt on and has now got rid of his W**ker tan!!

I've seen it all now.....a bloke (Grockle) gets into the water between me and Kev and proceeds to swim downtide and.........almost gets tangled in Bass Bandits' line........what a prat he was

Anyway mate can I book for next year please and I'll get my bacon roll deposit to you asap

Once again thanks to the guys who turned up and stuck it out in the blistering heat......mad dogs and englishman etc etc

Re: beesands and sunstroke

there was nout wrong with my footwear... cant stand sand/stones in my shoes so the wellies was the best idea

was a good day.. i missed the bacon rolls?!?.. and missed the fish too but i did get one hell of a tan and am nursing blisters on my arms

we stayed til 7 i think and still caught nothing maybe we would of had better luck over the road in the pond?

Re: beesands and sunstroke

It was a good crack and really good to meet a few more Forum members. Thanks to all the "regulars" who made us "newbies" so welcome (especially those of us giving our Forum shirts their first outing!). I'm sure we'll bag up next time.

Thumbs up Re: beesands and sunstroke

Hey Richard,

Pleasure to meet up with you too mate.
Great to finally meet Steve (steve devon) and his pal Rigmaster and to Bassbandit (Rex) and his wife Bea. Nice to put names and faces to some of the people I have known for a long time now.

There's not a lot to add to what has already been said. My arms now look like a heafty pair of Lobster claws....My son Smallfry outfished me...I was once again ribbed to hell by Farmer Kev...well maybe only a bit!! But we all had a great time. Who needs to go abroad when the sun shines on south Devon like it did sunday?

Kev and I are heading down that way again soon. An evening/night session being the order of the day. We will let you know when.

Cheers.

Kiwi.
