| hello all want to have a go at spinning for pollock has anyone got any spots they can direct me to also what sort of ground do they like and best times togo for them high water or low water any info would be great tight lines all ![]() |

| Re: pollock spinning hey shrek the best times in my book is darkness we used to catch plenty of them upto 3lb's right in the harbour mouth at torquay... im not sure what is left there now as those oriental gentlemen take the lot! but when i was a kid (which wasnt that long ago!) there used to be loads there.. low tide seemed better than high on a summer evening ... your best trying after 11pm though once the ferry's have finished coming in and out ect __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think! |

| Re: pollock spinning you can also catch them from brixham breakwater or sharkham point on a dexter wedge ,they are usually nearer the bottom ,i have caught them in daylight if you can avoid the mackeral ![]() __________________ obsessed is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated .. species hunt team winner 2005 and 2006..with old smoothy.. |
