bristol channel

I have just got back from the channel , 3 codling (about 2lb)
fish & chips for tea !

Sorry mate, but I would not have taken 2lb Codling home.
They would be considered out of size in any of my club matches shore or boat.

Shame, they could have grown on to come back in the winter as in size fish.

Sorry Orange Lad but I think anything below 3LB should be considered a waste of time keeping - you are killing a lot of fish ( as in size ) for very little food on the plate !

As Rich says its each to their own but I reckon thats just a bit on the small side for keeping especially as its 3 of them - they could have been a little bit bigger come next winter - just consider that for a while eh ...............

If we all kept them at that size where would the bigguns come from !
