Re: Catching fish on the I.O.W

i would, but theres abit of water in the way
i went through a period of about 8 months of blanking! every weekend
one of the key factors is knowing what to target, you dont use a whole quid when there are only little fish about, also fishing at night makes a world of difference
fishing should be picking up nicely now with the warmer weather, even the best fishermen blank during winter, especialy at day time

Re: Catching fish on the I.O.W

if you drop me a pm i will provide u with an excellent guide produced by one of the IOW locals...
i was working on the IOW for a few weeks last month and there are hundreds of brilliant spots!! Unfortunately, as you have already discovered these are kept closely guarded!!! Luckily this guide will show you all the marks and what fish can be expected there, what tides to fish etc.
We can then help you with the rigs and bait advice for those species....
