Hay guys,

Spent from 12 pm till 5:30 am and only caught a small dog fish.

Apart from that had a massive bite that sent my rod flying, but I lost it trying to reel it in.

Any of you been fishing the pier lately? anyone had better luck than me?

I had 2 rods, one with hard crab that i caught in warsash and the other one with squid.

I couldnt really find Lugworm in warsash...

also, any good beaches in the area closer to town quay for worm?

Lugworm isnt much use on TQ this time of year bud
As for the missed fish i would put money on it that it was a smoothound
fresh ragworm will get you better results than just woofers and the closest beach is weston shore where it regularly looks like the surface of the moon due to all the diggers
