Nice Change to get out today

Well hit the beach at 0545 this morning and stealthfully crept up to the swirl on top of the sand.....slurp.....ahhhh, love that sound and generally it goes hand in hand with a fat juicy black lug, three out on the trot and I thought yep, got this licked now, then things seemed to go down hill, hit and miss, got a good bucket full to gut and freeze down until my next trip, couldn't resist taking the rod for a few hours and resulted in a blank, lovely morning though, sun made a brief appearance, but God was it cold.
Can,t wait until spring, so will hope to get out in the Boat for a trip soon.
