i got hooked at a comp

]Hi all went to the last comp for ashlet today got set up cast out at half ten got snaged and] lost a trace so started making a new one coz i didn't get time last night. As i was putting the last hook on i thought i would put a little spit on the knot and pulled it and the hook slipped out my fingers and went in my lip. Tryed to get it out but well in there so i went to the hospital. After a little cut and pull i was ok again but god it killed and i missed the comp. Never do that again lol

Unlucky there, i am always worried about doing stuff like that. Almost got a treble in my hand on friday when a pike starting thrasing about when i was unhooking it. I can't imagine what it must be like in the lip.

pmsl i remember when i was about 10 standing behing someone when they were casting out , yup hook straight through my lip , went to the hossy with hook in lip with maggots still attached
