Re: where is the wreck in the the middle of chesil beach

been a long time since ive been down there but from what i can remember you head along chesil towards portland and you come t a cafe look up the beach from the cafe in front you will see red bricks coming out the shingle looks a bit like a chimney fish in front of them about 80-100 yrds out, your soon know as other people will be fishing it - this is from memory so hope some other guys on here will clarify..
good luck

Re: where is the wreck in the the middle of chesil beach

the wreck of the Adelaide is at the main car park .. worth a go for the triggers but not that exciting otherwise mate .. its around 150 metres out and sits in about 12 metres of water. For the wreck of the Royal Adelaide, park in the centre of the Chesil Beach car park, face the shingle bank with your back to the road, and walk at an angle of roughly 45 degrees to your right. Carry on walking on the top of the shingle bank until the 3rd lampost from the left of the Chesil Beach Centre (the building on the right of the photograph) lines up exactly with the light on Portland Harbour..
the landing craft is found near there too and is a good spot for bream .

Keep an eye out for a mad scotsman with a bald head (he wont be targetting sea bass ) as soon as you see him BINGO you have found the wreck
