fishing in hamble

hi all just moved to hamble was wondering weres the best place to fish ???

Like everywhere steve its very quiet out there at the moment but a few of my favourite marks i would target would be , to the left of moodys boat yard in swanick , walk around the path under the trees and fish half way along , good flounder mark in the winter and bass ,mullet and bream in the summer , hamble spit fished over low water in the summer will produce smoothound to double figures and very good bass , but you must be aware of the tide behind you at all times as its so easy to get cut off , hamble bp jetty is another good mark to the left or right about 100 yrds will see flounder the odd plaice and smutts bass and bream in the summer , and finnaly the gun turrets will produce a few species , parking right by it so its a easy venue to fish hope this helps steve and good luck

Its worth taking a flounder spoon with you steve and spinning with a baited spoon for the flounder you are allowed to fish the pontoon there , gives you a bit more depth

Bad luck steve , thats the way it is at the moment end of the month it should start to pick up ill be fishing the itchen somewhere tommorow , will let you know how it goes

hi i fished the gun this morning still with no luck ive got to be doing something wrong just it gets better soon

Your doing nothing wrong mate 3 of us blanked today

me and my frend fish at the key alot and just resentley we have bean geting bass i think its because we are useing the shrimp in the water as are bait i got a 2 10 bass the other day
