Unhappy help

Hello all,

I am a new member and thought I might ask for a bit of help to see if anyonre has any ideas.

I have been fishing in the UK for 4 years now and have a terrible record at catching fish.

I always try a variety of baits, rigs and spots (all along the south coast - hampshire, dorset, cornwall, isle of whight) but to no avail.

I reckon I probably catch 1 fish every 14 hours!

Is it me or are the south british seas void of any fish life?

I used to live in the middle east and they have commercial fishing there too but anglers could always be sure of many a catch.

Any ideas anyone please?

Re: help

thanks for that mate,

confirmed my fears a bit, I must always be in the wrong place at the wrong time!

have tried pretty much everywhere I reckon bournemouth/christchurch beaches, hengistbury head, hurst castle, swanage (around), kimmeridge, worbarrow bay, lulworth, in/around seaton/axminster/sidmouth, exmouth, darmouth, multiple places on isle of whight and cornwall.
