Fishing sat night into sun morning, any places??

Well, going to try for an overnight fish.........any places reccomended?

Try Hayling Island where they have several pubs, fish and chips (if yer a failure),

There should be some doubles this season from Hants, W Sussex and Kent beaches (2006 stock .... if they've left us any!).

Have you heard of any codling caught yet in the last few weeks/days ? Only heard of 1 so far at Pevensey, been reasonable weather for them along here but not showing yet.

an 8lb came from eastoke on hayling and i had a 2lb 10oz bass .

used to get them quite often in the mersey upto 5 years ago now lucky to get a 4lber my theory is since they cleansd it up no self respecting cod wants to go there a bit like some pubs turned into winebars you get my meaning

OK, so the secret is out ....

there'll be cod caught off the beaches from (locally) Pagham to Hurst.

Kent will probably do better and East Anglia will fish later still.

Miss late Sept. and Oct. and you'll probably miss them from the Solent area.

Loadsa lug and squid ....

good tides here from 15th Sept - 20th Sept and again from 29th Sept - Sun 4th Oct.

There were a total of 5 caught on Worthing Pier during the windy weather of last week, ranged from 2lb 8oz to 6lb 12oz, i didnt catch any of them
