Hi, Iam new to all this forum stuff, just joined tonight. I work for the EA and I am sorry to tell you but it's not our remit guys (fixed nets is another thing). You need to get in touch with your local Southern Sea Fisheries Office(r). I am a dead keen Bass angler myself, live in Pompey, and it saddens me to hear about all those imature fish being slaughtered for no good reason. This is totally unsustainable and the legislation is there for a reason. It just needs good intelligence to enable effective responses from my colleagues on the salty side of things.

i have chucked so many buckets of bass in the sea from the chinese. i got punched by 1 of them. ( he he i chucked his rod in after that aswell) luckily the bass come in certain shaols so there still alive. one of them had a big pollock in there bucket and that went with the bucket 2

right then pompy you sometimes say you catch eight ten twenty thiirty or so bass you sometimes loose count now is it possible these are sandeels or somethink else it would explain a lot and the chinese guys have buckets of sandeels thrown in the sea by some spotty youth you may very well catch that may but sorry son up here we just dontcatch as many we find it hard to believe sometimesany one else agree

ive heard about these chinese up that way taking loads of small bass ,my mate said they were fishing a bridge and didnt like anyone else musciling in on their spot.
