Re: Hengisbury Head No Mate, you can park at Mudeford Quay in a disabled bay for free if you have a blue badge and the car is tax exempt, then go across on the ferry which costs £1.20 each way. Or you can park the the big carpark at the hegisbury head information centre and then catch the noddy train to the head. Ive been there today and can safety say that fishing today was not good, mind you it was a large tide and never used to fish well on a big tide. but who knows with different conditions things may change.

Re: Hengisbury Head The fishing on hengisbury head can be very good, however don't make the same mistake that Dognobbler & I once made. We forgot to find out what time the last Noddy train went back to the car park & we had a long hike back with all our gear... ![]() __________________ Don't Judge My Path If You Haven't Walked My Journey...

Re: Hengisbury Head Boscombe pier used to be good, but not so these days because of the wind surfers, and net close to the pier, you have to pay to fish during the day, but night time fishing is only accessible to clubmembers and then you need to purchase a key. I dont know where you looked at hengisbury but there were 6 people fishing in close range to me, I was fishing behind the cafe on the seaward side and had a red beach buddy up, to keep out of the wind. Gremilins right about the noddy train also the last ferry is 1700 hours. If your traveling down from Salisbury, you could always try the town quay at Southampton

Re: Hengisbury Head Your welcome, if you fancy a bit of good sport, try Redbridge on a incoming tide, using a spinning rod and mepps no2 or a Mepps flying condom but that will be later on in the year, (when we get to summer) tightlines
