Re: brixham well when your coming to torbay let me know i will leave you a contact number and maybe we could meet up. brixham breakwater fishes all the way along for the eels i think the inside of the breakwater is the better/more favoured area but they do catch eels on the outside too. __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think!

Re: brixham The conger lurk very close to the breakwater so you only need cast 5 to 10 yards. Mackerel do ok but feeding 3 or 4 whole squid up the line works better imo. They mainly feed at night and you want to be fishing the last third of the breakwater. __________________ Simon "4 Rods" TorbayFishing.Com - Beginners guide to sea fishing, news, reviews & more!

Re: brixham I find that a mackeral flapper works the best, cut the tail oof a cut in the middle all the way up to the start of the dorsal fin. tj

Re: brixham I live in Brixham, only 5 mins walk from the break water and 5mins in car to Berry Head. Break water produces quite a few as already mentioned, also Berry Head is quite productive too. Pic is of Berry Head,Fish the Right hand side section (as your looking at the pic.) on the concrete platform, its comfortable and safe and easier to land fish. The other rock marks are just that..fishing off rocks so its slightly more tricky but it aint too bad. Check out this web site for more info on Berry Head, it includes fishing marks, bottom structure and water depths... Look under PLACES TO FISH http://www.torbayfishing.com/ HAVE FUN Cheers Nigel ![]()
