Re: anybody live near wareham?

Dave

Studland beach is pretty good at night for bass etc. See Adrian Jacobs page here http://homepage.ntlworld.com/adrianjacobs/

Also Kimmeridge is pretty good for bass and mullet on fly or light spinning gear. There are also loads of wrasse under the cliffs to the east. If you are after the bass and mullet walk round to the east under the cliffs, fish an evening tide and throw in loads of the rotting seaweed from the beach. The fish usually come in to feed on the maggots from the weed. You could try light legering gear and a long flowing trace with maggots for the mullet.

On the east side of Poole, Branksome beach is pretty good at night. Also don't forget that Wareham is only 20 miles from Chesil!

Jon
