Lymington harbour 7/1/2007

Evening anglers ,
well it was our first club match of the year , where points counted lol ,arrived at the venue hurst castle to this .........................

,

as mike said force 6 in yer face !!!!!! totally unfishable so plan b ???? lymington wall , but due to a rather large match there , no chance of a space !!!!! , plan c as we didnt want to drive around for ages wasting valuable fishing time we settled for lymington harbour .......
looked a deep water venue so we stuck to it , a little dissapointed that we couldnt fish hurst (sorry guys but i cant predict the weather) ,up we set anyway , with kick off at 10.30 am first blood was drawn by carl with a flounder of 1 lb 5 ozs .......

caught on rag , then it was micks turn with another flounder of 11 ozs ....

again caught on rag , then me with another monster draggonet of 2 ozs lol ,if anything ive mastered the art of catching these buggers lol !!!! ,
didnt photo it as my lense wasnt big enough lol , then 1 of our junior members joe pulled in another flounder of dead on 1lb 5ozs again to take joint first place .....

well done joe ,
then not to be out done mike ( mithrandir) pulled in this bleeny not too sure what type but nether the less a blenny !!!!........

once again a very pleasant day fishing with friends , left not too bothered about hurst as i thouroughly enjoyed it fish or no fish !!!!!!!,
so the scores lol ,
joint first , carl / joe ,
second , mick ,
third , me ,
fourth , mike ......
great to see the junior section starting out on the right foot , and fully enjoying their fishing ,and dan (fisherdan) had more nests than a oak tree lol change your line mate ,

cheers lee.
