Eastbourne report (5.1.07)

Hit the pier at about 8am.
Set up a variety of rigs between us using mainly lug tipped with squid.
Missed a few small bites over the first hour or so, then my son got a definate bite !! He reeled in and landed his first ever whiting caught
(about 4" long LOL) One VERY happy 10 year old cos HE caught the first fish of the day.
Anyway over the rest of the session we managed to catch 2 more whiting, a dab, 2 rockling and a nice size crab.
Weather deteriorated about 11-30 so fished to the high water at 12 and called it a day.
So we packed up and headed down to the town for some well earned fish and chips and a pint (I had a coke as I was driving )before heading home.

He loved his pint (of coke)
only another 7 or 8 years then I can get him to drive me around instead of just driving me up the wall

Yes we all had a good day and now my son cant wait to go again, he also wants to try his hand at boat fishing now but I have told that will have to wait till the summer.
