| Loon lagoon , 1st jan , town quay !!!! Evening all , well ive commited myself to driving new years eve , so to make the most of it ,im off fishing monday town quay is the venue , had a drive up there today and boy was it blowing !!!!!! surf was rough , and water was lets say a little cloudy ! , bass bass and more bass , sat down last night and made up a few fool proof rigs to catch these little blighters as ive lost more than probally will admit to this year , had a few thoughts on big baits as well , and have a couple of tipped baits im going to try !!!!!! , whilst sat on my ass waiting for the biggun , ive also dug out and shined up and sharpened a few dexters and rapalas to keep me occupied lol , so i will be kept busy , come rain , wind , hail or shine i shall be there whilst you will be waking up with a head like a skating rink and oh ye , IM NEVER DRINKING AGAIN LOL !!!!!!!!!!! , me as fresh as a daisy and being blown around on the quay !!!!!, maybe even a chance to score some points for me and warmit on the species hunt !!!, well i have a busy next 2 days so if i dont chat soon , then HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL , AND A FANTASTIC 2007 !!!!!!!!!!, all the best for the new year guys and claudia (aka jonah 1 ) ......... thanks for agreat knoweledgeable 2006 ...... lee. __________________ A MAN IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL HE IS MARRIED, THEN HE IS FINISHED .!!!     |

| Re: Loon lagoon , 1st jan , town quay !!!! Lee, fished it today for about three hours, eventually got blown off wind was just too much. Did manage a few whiting out far, all went to mackerel strip, fished one rod in close, with squid, rag, mackie and various combinations, but nothing showing in close. Good luck for tomorrow, I'm down bournemouth with the family - they think for a walk along the beach - but what with a daytime lowtide - might get them all digging a few lug for the freezer! __________________ It has always been my private conviction that any man who pits his intelligence against a fish and loses has it coming. ~John Steinbeck |
