Thumbs down Barton on Sea, 12/11/06

Quick report.
Fished Sunday evening, 8-12 midnight.
Good swell, some colour in a s.westerly 5-6. Fished low water(ish), up.
Good cloud cover. 2 rods, one with a pompey rig and blow lug, one with a 2 hook flapper loaded with blow.
Small schoolie to the missus, first chuck. There's me thinking 'here we go', but a bit prem. Turned out to be our only fish. Rats!
Only one other rattle..... b4 we said offski.
Nevermind. I think next year will see a change of strategy; more casting practice; more bait digging; and more attention to peak times/seasons.
Probably shorter sessions, targeting species. Looking back say.. 10 years, seems less around nowdays, or is it just me?

Twiddler m8, I was'nt being completely honest. I did, infact, both bait up, cast, and even unhook said schooly. How'd you think I'd have stood had it been a record fish?
I'm just going to chain myself to some railings.
