Re: Hey diddle diddle, Lympstone 07/11/06

I haven't been so moved, since this week's Pride of Britain Awards. A little tear welled up in my eye upon realisation that your goal had been met . . . My mind began to wander towards next years PoB Awards as Tobi Anstis announced that the winner of this years' most driven Angler award goes to some cheeky looking chappy with the sort of smile that could only be captured on wide screen - Camera pans to the crowd of celebrities to see Bill Odie looking on admirably and one of the former members of Steps wiping away a tear or two.

Well done Sir!

havent I seen this icon somewhere before?

Ah shucks... You'll make me

I'd like to thank my mother, my agent, the fish, the bloke from the newsagents down the road, the tackle shop, the forum, the guys at the bus stop, my boss, the FPO, Douglas Adams, the Beatles, The whole of the 2001 promotion winning West Brom side, dopey, grumpy, doc, happy, bashful, sneezy, sleepy, God, my best friend when I was 6 who used to steal my Star Wars figures, George Lucas, Ediie Izzard, the pope, Oasis, Jimmy Tarbuck, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Roger Moore, my driving instructor, my first girlfriend, the guy who wrote my car off, the stars in the sky and a partridge in a pear tree.

Phew. I think that's it.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to get a clear shot at that damned "H" from Steps. Stop bl**dy bouncing everywhere. Oh, and your mother gave you a perfect good name. USE IT.

Pass the shotgun someone...
