Firework display

Idiots more like ...
Decided to have a session with some good tides tonight, the firework idiots were there as well, one lot set up a bonfire right next to a guy with his lad fishing, fortunately I was 30/40 yards away, lots of other fireworks being set off on the beach behind us which you could cope with then this party decided to let off thier fireworks right above our heads - poor guy next to me gave up and went .... I persevered until the idiots decided it would be fun to then bounce the rockets off the sea, so off they went, about 100 yards or so out right in front of me - was like Beirut - that what the fish must of thought so the fish all went home .....
Gave up and went home as well - roll on November 6th ....

Re: Firework display

Had a good display last night when fishing New Passage on the Bristol Channel. At least it made up for the lack of bites.......

Re: Firework display

Never done well at Eastney.
Had a few Plaice years ago, during Spring's annual 'Plaice Rush'. Nothing big.
Watched others take Dabs, and good ones at that, but no luck for me that night.
To be honest, I've not made the effort, therefore.......
Sudge.

Re: Firework display

I know - these were literally exploding on the waters surface so the noise & flashes definatley scared the fish away ...
