Hamble

Hi All

I have a few days off from my normal job in a fortnight and will be doing a quick bit of work at Whiteley, I drive past the turning for Hamble on the way to the other job and was wondering what it is like down there and where the best spots are. I may drop Claudia down there to do a spot of fishing whilst I work then join her for the rest of the day when I finish.

So best spots and best tactics would be gratefully recieved.

go down there almost every day, the flounders are showing, plus a few nice bass and there still is the odd mullet about.

went down there yesterday... and the first time in about 2 years... i was fishing there normal like any other day, till some yobs came down, and they said to me do you go to thornhill? and are you from hamble. i said no i go to hamble and bloody hell broke loose.. they tryed to steal my tackle and everything! i just said , WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU DOING! and they still ignored me. so i just pushed them out the way.. and i was pretending i was on the phone so they would go.. luckily they only took a bit of money ( 2 pounds 10p) so now i think i will bring some defence or somthing. there was about 10 of them all aged from 12- 15.. if it does happen again ive got it all sorted now.

lol... would be funny though to see there faces, but they nicked some sandeel. and started saying stuff like eat it now. and i just said no... then they where just standing there doing nothing... but they must of planned it out because there was one person distracting me, whilst the other load where going through my bag. and they where going Haha youve got a boat reel, and i said no i havnt you fool its a beach reel. and they just looked at me like a idiot. if they would of touched my rod ,god they would have gone to punchville. bloody yobs go find somthing else to do. it realy enoyed me and is still now.

Teens who have nothing better to do.....maybe they should take up fishing lol....or even better, teach them how to swim lmao....just hook 'em up as bait lol
