 Lee-on Solent, 6.10.06 A 4.9m high @ midnight, southerly breeze, and recent blow, led me into some wishful thinking!..... Roughly translated to a VERY moonlit night, with no discernable cloud cover, and for a big tide, FANNY ADAMS draw on the water...... not much colour either....  Excuses over..., there were a few schoolies around at close range, and for the lucky few, the odd undersize flatty. Not a touch at anything over 20yds. Fished by the hovercraft slipway. Tried Lug, squid, and a few of my precious silvers. Didn't have any fish baits, and never got near any Pout, so I was unable to improvize. No sign of any Whiting. Think I'll give it a miss for a few weeks. Refurb' my rigs, sort my reels, do a bit of digging, etc. When the whitefish turn up, let me know!  Sudge.     |
