Re: Poole Quay

Good to meet lee, gaz, gary and arron, not a bad mark I think I will try it in different tidal conditions, after you left we stayed until 5.30am and all that happened was the tide kept switching, and trying to trot a 6oz gripper is not fun!!

I might daytime in low tide swing and see what it is like, I only work a mile from there could pop down and check it out after work one evening.

Think I am getting too old for this all night winter fishing lark, I need my sleep these days.

see you all soon

Mike

Re: Poole Quay

Unlucky guys + Claudia, all look great in the t-shirts though.

Reckon myself + Claudia should be a team for the Species hunt 2007, the only team to finish with the same scoreline they started with

Re: Poole Quay

Oh well!
You gotta be in it to win it! It's all good experience.
Good tides and bad, it'll help put you on the fish next time, gang.
Or as Depeche Mode used to say, 'everything counts in large amounts!' (weed!!!!!)
A HA!

Sudge.

Re: Poole Quay

Well, now I finally crawled out of bed, I thought it was time for my saying......it wasn't my fault everybody blanked booo, I did suggest to take them all out on my little boat

but the boys were worried about being seasick lol

Here a couple more pics of the view

It was great meeting Gary, Gaz and Aaron.

Well, crabs wasn't the only things that were caught last night....don't forget the shrimps lol.....Here was dedication from Gaz...he caught a few shrimps with Lee's speciman carping net and caught 3 of them...Aaron armed himself with a pot noodle container and landed a few more...WELL DONE guys!!!
13 rods, one net and one pot noodle container all all we got to show for it, was crabs and shrimps pmsl

Still I got the chance to try my new rods/reels out, which gave me a chance to get use to them for my next blanking session.

Claudia
