March/april are those months when not much shows realy

The flounders are gone by thn, mackerel/gar aint in by thn but thats when the plaice start showing and will still get the usual whiting, pout and dogs off the bottom

Steve

I will be working in plymouth all this week and looking at some short sessions after work - is it too late for spinning at mount batten (or plymouth area)as i will not have all the gear with me as only traveling lite - any suggestions.

theres still mackerel and gar showing (plenty of gar) but i would go 4 the float if you can instead of spinning

you will get fish on the spinner still (mackerel, pollack, gar if your lucky) but float will catch more
