Southbourne - Monday 28th

Fished Southbourne from Midday up till nine.

Baits used Rag, Mackerel and Squid (all fish taken to Mackerel or Rag tipped with Mackerel)

Caught a variety of fish; my first Plaice albeit a tiddler, and my mate picked up what I'm certain was a Turbot only about 1lb but his first t
Turbot, he also picked up his first dab, so a day of 1st's for him.

We also caught Mackerel throughout the day, but was a bit strange, as all the mackerel were taken off the bottom, none whatsoever showed to feathers, oh it was his first beach caught mackerel as well!

Day was quite blowy but the weed kept away so al in all not the most exhilirating day's fishing but still a good 'un.
