i find that when you go at the end of the car park at town quay... if you look to your east you shouldnt get snagged, if you look north where the sign is you get snagged quite often, i think the best place to cast it north east and cast it out as far. thats how i catch most of my fish down there... good luck .

When I fish Town Quay I normally try to hit the gulley that runs about 90 yards out in the channel, but I always drop a line in short - literally 2-5 yards out from the quay, alwasy a good chance of a decent mullet, or better still a lunking great bass.
