A day out with Tommy, Steve and Jules.

Guys,
I got an invitation to to out on Tommys boat the Thomas Harold last wednesday. Yes of course I went and this is what happened........

We met up on Exmouth docks at just gone 7.30, got some live sandeels and took the water taxi out to the boat.
Ist we went to the sandbanks off Teignmouth and caught loads of big mackys on little spinning rods and sandeels...soo much fun, had a couple of bass too!!!
Then out to the Boma, a big but broken wreck about 10 miles out, bit lumpy but they've got a cracking boat. Steve got a nice pollack of about 4lbs straight away but that was all we found there. So, off to the Lord Stewart which had myseriously dissappeared! Options were limited so we headed for the Galacia, 1 other boat fishing it but again, big wreck and Steve found a big lump we could fish safely and we anchored over it. Oh my were the doggies biting!!! We got loads of them, no congers, but also a very pretty tub gurnard.
Well we were back on shore about 5.30 having had a really great days fishing and I got to meet Tommy at last.
Thank you tommy and please thank Steve for me, great day out and a real pleasure to meet you. Now Nimues back on her mooring I'll bring her out and we can have some more fun!!!!
