hi all went fishing at dawlish and caught 12 makeral
nothing else about apart from bait robbing crabs

using a carp rod with 3 white feathers also tried for bass using float with sandeel and caught one makerel on that

if theres loads of macky about you will never get a bass! they havnt got a chance to see the bait

i caught a crab 2day as well, evil thing bit me

tryed 2 use it as bait
removed the claws and legs but didnt realise they bit as well
now got quite a large infected hole in my thumb

i was fishing in between red rock and the station
carp rods are great for macky good fight when you have three on
bloody crabs hope your thumb is ok ben :)
