| fishing in torbay hello fellow anglers fished one of my favourite local spots last night for conger eels after i finished work, got down to our spot around 5.30 pm, promptly set up 2 rods each (i was fishing with my little bro) and set about chucking our whole makerel baits out as far as we could cast 6oz of lead, whole 8-10 oz mackerel and 50 lb mainline!! ( NOT FAR LOL ) nothing for the first hour, then a small rattle on my left hand rod, cut a long story short, it turned out to be a edible crab! the only 'fish' we caught were 2 small doggies. not enjoyable fishing in all that rain and wind! has anyone else been fishing this week? with any sort of results? |

| Top marks for effort guys. Don,t envy you in that weather though. Better a doggie than nothing (I think ) Was the crab tasty? ![]() __________________ One man's fish is another man's poissons http://www.deepsea.co.uk http://www.wildtrout.org |
