well . i did catch a pouting that day ( with sand eel ) , but they wont be that good , because all of the bass have gone .

OK cheers for the info, i did get a small bass on Saturday from there, but yes I agree, most the bass seem to have gone . . . for now

still plenty of bass about in the river, just gotta know where n when
2 friends of mine were fishing on the river on saturday and had 2 size bass, loads of school bass and 4 flounders
and i had a size bass on sunday

my freind caught a bass down town quay .. so there is still a lot down there

Arn't they just, alot of beach matchmen use them but boat guys tend to stick

i prefer hermit just cause its cheaper and works just as well for smuts, also less likely to get pestered by schoal bass n bream
