| hill head last night me n bill headed to hill head last night after some more smoothys, what a night! i turned up at about 9.45pm after managing to get off work early to meet bill who had already had an 8lb smoothy, a rig and bait were set up very quickly and sent out there soon after my rod started heading towards the sea at quite some speed, i was in! acouple of mins latter and it turned out to be a nice 7lb common smoothound, dead chuffed (my biggest this year)  we were getting a bite every cast but hooking them was very hard! bill got another smoothy about 4-5lb after a while it was all starting to go quiet when bill had 1 very good knock on his right hand rod, "i am in, and its big!" after about 30 seconds his other rod started going "quick ben my other rod!" we were both into good fish and both praying my rod didnt go in as well after 2 very good fights we had a double shot of smoothys on the bank, a common of 10lb+ and a starry of 8lb    in between all of the action bill managed a nice pout (he wouldnt let me take a photo of this) and i got a small pup all in all a very good night, lots of bites and fish, lost quite afew fish on the way in and missed lots of bites, rigs need to be looked at i think cant wait till next time __________________ Bens The Name And Catchings The Game Anti the Anti's     |
