Re: quiet night last night

going fishing at night really is the key though, i have been fihsing this mark for over 2yrs sitting there using exactly the same bait, maybe not as far out but in the same place and never had anything so good, go down at night and it makes the world of difference, i think i might limit my fishing pritty much to night now, so much better

Re: quiet night last night

Another good night Ben.

That Bass does look more than 2lbs to me too.

Maybe the smoothies are over my way tonight I will let you know. Anyway good luck with the exams mate, and you could always change the sig to Bens the name bagging ups the game.

You are right about night being much much better than day, but I would say that at your spot up the Hamble at low tide early morning would be a top spot for a very large bass, I recon.

Re: quiet night last night

Well done Ben

It was a lovely Bass and it made it worth going.

I still reckon its at least 2.1/2 lb it was very thick.

Sorry you got slimed but it was funny and it stopped you grinning for 5 mins

Re: quiet night last night

LOL .I would love your bass to be two and a half pounds Ben after we weighed it on your rusty scales,Because if they were 25% under that would make my smoothie 16lbs

well it was still a nice pout Ben,only about a pound under specimen
