| warash last night well all i can say is what a great night! i managed to get down to the beach by about 10 after managing to finsish work early and to supply some chips to be greated by a rather wet looking bill and a happy looking john, " 3 smuts and 1 bass so far! the last 1 pulled bills rod in, he had to go after it!" was what i was told, i couldnt beleave it, i dont think i have ever set up so fast and got the bait in the water the fish which pulled bills rod in was around the 5lb mark, i think john had 1 the same size and bill had another smaller i cast mine out and set the clicker on to bait up another rig and within seconds i had a run, to slow, next cast and the same again, same again next cast, finaly on my 4th cast i got 1  nothing masive but big enough to put a grin on my face, maybe 1 1/2lb things were going strong over high water with us amounting 15 smuts between us, most under 1lb but still good things died off abit as the tide fell and the wind was really picking up, maybe F7-8 now in the last hr or so i managed 1 more baby smut and john the lucky git managed to get 2 bass, 1 schoal bass pulled in on his lost rig and 1 lovely 3 1/2lb bass!!!! the jammy git is all i can say!  i cant wait till next time!! maybe warsash aint such a rubish beach to fish  __________________ Bens The Name And Catchings The Game Anti the Anti's     |

| Re: warash last night Good report again Ben and Warsash aint rubbish so no more blanking there.lol Thanks for the pea fritter,sausage,steak pie and chips they were lovely. It was a shame you turned up later as all the bigger fish seemed to have moved on by the time you got there and you missed the one John had which tried to swim up the beach at speed and well done John with a lovely bass.Then my rod charging out to sea and me thinking at the time i hope this beach is not steep and then while in the water thinking what a good time not to have my floatation jacket on.Lesson learnt lol Cant wait till the next time chaps so make it soon.  __________________ Bill |
