Folkestone Pier 27/1

Went to Folkstone today after some Dabs to eat and if we get a sack of spuds we should have enough for a meal

Fished 2 beachcasters and a Bass rod down the wall (until the tide got to strong)
and we were into whiting as soon as the bait hit the water only had 1 of any size:


As the tide started to flood the dabs came on the feed and we manage to find 6 keepers amongst the little ones
when the tide really started to run I put a Pully Pennal rig on for a doggie but didn't need it as I had the doggie on the bottom hook of a 2 hook flapper baited with Raw Prawn and a bit of sticky black Lug

Between the 3 of us we managed

A good day out and lunch as well

Great days fishing with loads of pins and slugs a few pout and a nice dinner

Would have been better had the battery in my camera not died so had to photograph my dinner when I got home

Well done fellas, glad you found some fish!!! Was you fishing right on the bend or was you further back along the first half of the pier? (as the picy shows) Really good bags of dab to be had from the "flattie bend"

Joe, Dick was fishing just before the bend,I was right on the bend and Dick's brother was just around the bend
