| Erith Pier 23/1 Went to Erith today to use the bait we didn't use on Saturday. We were first ones on the pier(just) so went to the far end hoping for a Flounder or 2. Bigfish was in first, fishing the outside of the pier with a fat Whiting:  He then had the target species:  I was still blank but wasn't worried as I was casting into the channel for the Scrap Metal Yard which is the normal hot spot for Flounders and as the tide started to fill the channel I had this which was 1lb 3oz :  I ended up with 5 Flounders to 1lb 4oz and a Whiting and Bill had 5 Whiting and A Flounder __________________ Species 2011 = 54 2010 = 44 2008 = 29 2007 = 51 2006 = 44 2007 = 37 2004 = 36 LIFETIME = 70     |
