Pagham 16,01,2012

Hi All,

Its been a while since ive done a report, so here i go.
I thought i would hit pagham beach on monday evening with the tide being 4pm and me finishing work at 11am (i know a short day they owed me hours) it was perfect. So nipp down aldwick angling grabed me a load of bait and got to pagham for around 1pm.

The weather was a little blowy and spitting a little but nothing i havent had before. My first rod went out at distance with a pompey loop rig packed with rag and squid and my second rod went out again at distance with a 3/0 pulley rig, with a whole dirty squid and a few blacks.
So tucked my self away in my beach shelter watching the tips for that bite.
After half hour the bites were thick and fast with the pomey rig pulling in whiteing after whiteing then a good old pout.
Also a rockling and a eel.
Before i knew it, it was high tide so decided to pour myself a cuppa and then carry on. while drinking my coffee my pulley rod went mental banging away so hit in to it and felt a little something banging away as i pulled it on to the beach it was a little bass weighing a pound and a half that made my day. so again baited it up and whacked it out. 20 mins later the same kind of bite again so hit in to it and the fish on the end felt a little better as i pulled it near the hooked pulled and of went fishy. But i think it was another bass around the same size. But couldnt moan i had 5 species to add to my 2012 list and a cracking days fishing. I packed up and called it a day by 6. I will defo be heading back there again soon.
