last night was the first leg of the wednesday league after last weeks cancellation due to horrendous weather report

11 members fished steamer steps from 7.30-11. it was a lovely evening with a big old moon and calm sea, so no surprise that the pout and whiting were on the feed, and 2 members had surprise mackeral ,( got to love global warming )

I managed 3 insize pout and 3 insize whiting and missed a slimy eel that had messed the rig yukk

come the weigh in paul had first place with ken close behing , myself and kev were 3rd
a good eve, with good company and glad to get a couple of species into the hunt list
next month sidmouth seafront, hunting rockling
