| Fourth time lucky Yes after three codless trip I finally caught this beauty weighing in at 8lbs. Conditions were prefect at Abbotsbury last night, with overcast sky's and colour in the water. Fishing from 2pm until 9pm however I was running out of bait and feeling a bit demoralised when finally I hooked into a decent fish. Bait was a Squid and lug cocktail on a pulley pennel rig and 5/0 hook. This was a great way to finish an excellent year of fishing.  Happy new year. Sam.      |
