A bit of wind

doesn't stop me fishing

The forecast yesterday said windy first thing and then it would ease, WRONG!!!!

Went to Dover to see what was about apart from Tings and it blew all day and as it was blowing along the pier it made the bites hard to see except for this which put a nice bend on the rod:

It was a case of reeling in every15 minutes to see how many whiting had found the bait , I even had 2 on a 3/0 pennal rig baited with Squid and Blueys.
We had Whiting, Pout, Pollock ,Dab ,Rockling and the Doggy

Had to turn the car round so we could have a brew up ,which we needed because it was a bit nippy.

Re: A bit of wind

That's a nice report and picture; it does look nippy but I've no doubt you enjoyed the outing. Kind regards, John R.
