Admuralty pier + Prince of Wales pier 28 dec

arrived at the Addy pier, to be met by the gateman telling us with a 6.5 metre tide and a sw wind at 30mph, to possibly expect to see him at some point shutting the pier down due to the inevitable sea encroaching the pier

The 4 of decided to take our chances and proceeded to the extension behind cruise terminal2, and were set up and ready by 9.15am, to say the wind was gusting was not the word, each cast barely going anywhere as it was into the wind, the sea was rough, very rough, and sod all fish wise coming out, 1 1/2 before high water, the gateman was spot on, the sea was coming over the pier soaking everyone and all the gear, so a decision was made to get out of dodge and head round the corner to the pow,

Once there the sea was calm the wind much less, took 7 keeper whiting and lost count of the undersize ones that went back for the seal to have for dinner, all in all turned out to be much better on the pow than the addy, also gave advise(requested) and use of some things to a guy and his young son who set up next to us
