ESAA wed league december ...exmouth seafront

the December leg of the Wednesday league is always a short affair on the seafront with a social after

dureing the day it was looking unlikely as wind was howling, but this dropped and the 6 of us met and tried fishing infront of clubhouse,,,wrong weed and tide stopped that idea so we moved swiftly towards the octogon,

there were actually 5 species caught being whiting, bass, pollock, snooty eels and flounder , including this not quite specimin size ( but first of winter) for me



the weigh in was held at a local pub ( you can tell i run this league ) where paul was the winner with an insize bass and flounder and Carl second with 2 eels

this made Paul the overall winner for 2011 with over 100 points, Carl second and Shane a close third



its been a good social year on the wednesday league ( as is just an excuse to meet up on first wed each month , fishing is often secondary) and there are thoughts to make it even more social during the feb/march doldrums next year

first match of 2012 is wed 4th at the traditional first venue of budliegh and weigh in at the salterton arms
