The Codling Are In... Video Proof

Made another video of novembers fishing. Not much happened in truth but Monday night was the sight a lot of us wanted to see codling at last.

i'm gonna find a decent one if it kills me !
bloody weather killed our Dungeness trip but i aint giving up .. got bait in the freezer and plenty shiny new rigs ..

talking of rigs steve whats your best rig for fishing off a pier or beach for cod?

Butting in, I always used a running ledger......Bumped into a fella that said he always used french booms off the beach, he had 6 Bass to my one and two whiting, I only had that Bass after he had gone and changed my set up to imitate a french boom style rig.....thought it was interesting.
So I thought I'd share that with you.

Pulley pennel rig with 3/0 hooks mate. booms attract weed and cant be cast any real distance. with cod as long as you put a big bait under thier nose , most rigs will work if the fish are there. i cant see a boom holding 2 whole dirty squid lol

Doh. What planet am I on ??? soz mate this was meant to be a comment on Bass rigs in close, not for Cod.

used said same rig last night steve caught 6 dogfish on whole calamari
