| Hello All Went out with a group of ten from Wales on Smuggler a couple of weeks ago out of Exmouth. We fished a wreck about 45 miles out in force 2-3 northerly. Left at high spring tide (0600). Took about four hours to get out at around 12 - 13 knots. 12 oz weights, braid, white 4" storm shads (the ones with built in weights) and 12 foot 25lb memory free traces worked a treat. I had six pollack to 12lb, a 10lb ling, a whiting and a pouting. Everyone caught something. The biggest fish was a pollack of 14lb so no monsters but enough to keep us all busy. The skipper was excellent and very helpful. All in all a good day out and I would recommend the boat. £44 each. There will be pics of the trip on my site tomorrow.
