| DRAGONS TEETH 7th November 2011 Fished Abbotsbury yesterday after picking up Jaycee and Bassmanrob, and heading to dig some lug with Danny .. it was hard work ( for some ) but i guess we had over 300 worm between us  eventually arrived at the car park and headed through the jungle towards the teeth to try and winkle out a codling or two..A few guys heading back were non too positive about their days fishing but we were determined to have a good session. Slow was not the word , A dogfish for me , a sizeable whiting for Danny and not a lot else until Rob found a few bits and bobs and then my 2nd came up .... totally unexpected but a real bonus for me as its my first ever from the shore .. a babba but a first none the less    A few more whiting of keeping size came my way as well as 4 or 5 poor cod, a pout and then this bugger... another pb and the biggest whiting i've ever seen from the shore.. 54 cm long but thin .. i reckon had it fed well over winter it would have topped 3lb but it actually went 1lb 15 1/2 ounces ..  Taken on a big chunk of bluey and half a peeler ... It was a struggle and we eventually trundled off the beach at gone 6 this morning .. no codling , a few exciting moments when we thought we had hooked one .. more dogs for Rob and a couple of Keeper whiting for everyone else meant no one blanked but it wasn't the session we had all expected...
