Off to Bexy for day session tomorrow

Hi All,

The kayak has been lovingly put to rest in the garage so its time for some beach casting. I have just purchased a new Dawia Emcast 15' rod and have knocked up some clip down flapper rigs. Not expecting to catch a great deal but really looking forward to a relaxing day on the beach and testing my new tackle(rod that is). Will post a report. There's hoping

good luck .. might be a few whiting about if there is some colour in the water ..cuttlefish being a pain with fish baits but sandeel has been working well for dogs and bigger whiting

Hi All,

I stupidly decided to take the kayak out for one last session due to the wind dropping completely. Sea was like a millpond but due to the wind a rain of late, the water was the colour of chocolate. Needless to say I blanked. Fishing at Lyme I could see Chesil in the distance and I wished I was there. It was still a beautiful setting as you can see from the pics. I have cleaned and dismantled all my spinning rods to stop this happening again.
