What to do tomorrow?

Strong NW wind blowing tonight so that will put this coast out for tomorrow.
So the choices are take some spinners/plugs a float or two and dodge around the more sheltered coves on the south coast.
Or do i take the lazy option and buy some ragworm, take a handful of tackle then head to the harbour in hope of catching a wee flounder or two and fish right next to the car. Could even take my small stove and some bacon an egg for lunch if i choose option 2 yumm!

That's quite a dilemma you have on your hands! I'm always a fan of surface plugs, as you well know, but uf you're thinking of meat-fishing, I'd have a hard time passing up the flounder just to avoid being lazy........

I,l have a look on the webcams and weather tomorrow Pyro then decide what to do. I do like the topwater fishing when conditions are right, any fishing is a pleasure though just be nice to be out an about.

I did about 2 hours of what we call trashfishing or roughfishing today. It's very similar to your plan with the flounder.

What is night crawlers Pyro? some kind of worm? Sounds like a horror movie title . Got a couple of hours work in the morning so hoping to be off out somewhere by midday

Gas = petrol
nightcrawler = a worm almost a centimeter thick and about 4-6 inches long

The Nightcrawlers = a group of guys with green hair and body piercings at the University of Virginia's College at Wise in the late 1990's who hung out at the Baptist Student Union building until 5AM every night, listening to punk rock, reading the Bible, watching Mel Brooks films and fishing shows, and eating spicy food. That was a fun group of guys to lead!

Well to cut a long story short i got side tracked at the pub with the offer of an afternoons free beer to do a couple of jobs that nobody wanted to do lol.
Was gonna put the dilema off til tomorrow anyway as it was pretty crap weather, heavy showers and windy so it's looking like a late afternoon plugging after work tomorrow Chris.
