milford beach

got out last night to between the cafes
got bites on first cast but lost a dog in the surf the rest of the night was slow with a few small bites nothing beached,
to much weed, but it smelling rotten now, so wont be long before its gone

we have been to milford two nights a week for last three weeks but the pickings have been poor nothing but dogs and whiting and blanks in equal shares

off tonight but going to try some where else any one got a suggestion? need to remember what a good fish is like lol

tight lines

Never knew it was like that, you had previous experiences then? No not massive put one back, others were keepers but not massive! Had some massive bites but nothing landed by casting literally 15 yards! So i might give casting in close again.next time I'm there

its dark and no houses isnt it, any where like that can be targeted , but not seen anything in paper this year there
nice on the job on the sole i love barton fishing the last banjo to the left and fishing short to the lefthand side of the rock banjo, pulled out some great bass over the years and paddys gap both have always been good short range producers for me

Yeah Dave, the area seems to have a real bad rep and that almost unlit car park seems to be a really bad place to leave your motor . especially at weekends .. put us off fishing there a few weeks back so we ended up at west hordle car park

Im in agreement with the in close casting but my damn reels dont seem to agree and get all huffy if i dont whack the lead .. might need to get a fixed spool for the job
